HAMILTON COMMUNITY GARDENS
July - August - September, 2008

Hamilton Community Gardens, a ministry of West Highland Baptist Church, operates the Community Garden Plots and Victory Garden.

Victory Garden has an objective of providing 5,000 plus pounds of produce in 2008. Some harvesting has already begun with 176 pounds of green and yellow beans, radishes, cucumbers and onions being donated to 5 food banks/soup kitchens.

The much larger harvest has yet to begin and will continue well into the fall of 2008. All produce is organically grown with no pesticides and is cared for entirely by volunteers.

Come visit the gardens at 1605 Garth Street in Hamilton between Rymal Road and Stonechurch.
